On September 27, the 48th WorldSkills Competition, known as the "Olympics of Skills," concluded successfully in Shanghai. Xue Haoxin, a competitor from Yantai Urban and Rural Construction School, fought hard and won the gold medal in Plastering and Drywall Systems, standing on the world's highest podium for skills and winning honor for the country.

The Plastering and Drywall Systems event demands strict requirements on craftsmanship precision, with errors in multiple procedures required to be controlled within 1 millimeter. In the competition, Xue Haoxin responded calmly and made steady progress, completing all competition content with high quality. With exquisite skills and a stable mindset, he defeated strong competitors from various countries and successfully won the gold medal.

From a training partner to a national champion, and then to the pinnacle of the world stage, behind his achievements are his day-after-day hard training and his craftsmanship persistence in fighting for every millimeter. This honor would not have been possible without the scientific guidance of the coaching team, and even more so without the systematic training provided by the school's WorldSkills base.

Moving forward, the school will continue to promote teaching and learning through competition, deepen the transformation of WorldSkills results, cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talent, and help more young people embark on the path to success through skills.
