On June 5, the 2026 Yantai Sea Cucumber Industry Precision Matching Event themed "Fresh Yantai, Prime Seafood Delicacies" was successfully hosted at Qinghai Lanhai Yuhua Grand Hotel in Xining.

Leveraging Yantai's strengths in marine industries and Xining's position as a key consumption hub on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the event created a targeted production-marketing docking platform. It brought premium seafood from the prime coastal zone at 37° North Latitude to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, enabling two-way empowerment and mutual benefit between high-quality coastal produce and inland consumer markets. The promotion fair addressed gaps in regional markets, broke logistical barriers blocking high-quality Yantai seafood from entering inland northwest China, enriched local residents' dining options on the plateau, optimized inland dietary structures, and injected new momentum into the upgrading of Xining's fresh food market.

Yantai exhibitors hengaged in in?depth networking and precise negotiations with local distributors, supermarket buyers, catering groups, and supply chain companies in Xining. A total of 25 preliminary cooperation intentions with sales channels were reached on site, establishing long-term stable supply and marketing partnerships and laying a solid channel foundation for Yantai seafood to expand its presence in Qinghai and radiate into the broader northwest market.

Going forward, Yantai will further polish its public brand "Fresh Yantai, Prime Seafood Delicacies". Regular overseas market promotions and precise production-marketing matching activities will be carried out to deepen market penetration in inland regions including northwest, southwest and central China. The city will keep refining its nationwide sales and distribution network, and advance high-quality development of the national marine fishery industry through cross-regional industrial coordination.
