Chains Link Yantai, All Facets Converge: Yantai AI Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference Held

On May 22, the Yantai Artificial Intelligence Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference, themed "Chains Link Yantai, All Facets Converge," was held at the Dongshan Hotel in Yantai. Zhang Mingkang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee and Mayor of Yantai, and Hu Bo, Party Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager of Shandong Mobile, attended the event and delivered speeches. Zhao Xiaofeng, Secretary-General of the Yantai Municipal Government, and heads of relevant municipal departments, along with Yan Chengjie, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Shandong Mobile, participated in the event. This conference is a key initiative for Yantai to deepen the "AI+" action, and more importantly, a significant milestone in promoting the deep integration of technology and industry and accelerating digital-intelligent transformation.
In his speech, Zhang Mingkang stated that artificial intelligence is a crucial driving force for the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. He expressed the hope to strengthen cooperation with Shandong Mobile in the field of artificial intelligence, join hands and forge ahead together, and create a bright future.
In his speech, Hu Bo introduced Shandong Mobile's role as a "builder, enabler, and aggregator" in the field of artificial intelligence and its approach to empowering regional transformation and development through AI. He stated that Shandong Mobile will actively engage in the development process of Yantai's AI industry, continuously solidify the infrastructure foundation, enhance capabilities in factor supply, application development, and ecosystem aggregation, comprehensively empower all industries and sectors, and contribute more mobile wisdom to Yantai's development.
This event attracted over 100 enterprises, research institutes, and universities. During the event, guests unveiled the Yantai Artificial Intelligence Innovation Base and the China Mobile Yantai 5G Big Data and AI Computing Center. The Yantai Branch of Shandong Mobile signed agreements with Yulong Petrochemical, CIMC Raffles, Luhua Group, and Xinhaoke Tire. Some experts delivered keynote speeches, and relevant enterprises conducted capability promotion and demand release sessions.
