2025 Yantai Aesthetic Education Gala and National Reading Conference Kicks Off

On the morning of December 20, 2025, Yantai Aesthetic Education Gala and National Reading Conference commenced at the Yantai Youth Palace. The event was attended by representatives from relevant municipal and district departments of Yantai, officials from universities located in Yantai, as well as experts, award recipients, promoters, practitioners in the fields of aesthetic education and reading, and enthusiasts of literature and art from various sectors.

During the event, the inauguration ceremony for the Yantai New Era Aesthetic Education Center was held. Representatives from the National Reading Federation presented awards to the winners of the 2025 "National Reading Marathon Leaderboard," and launched a new phase of the reading marathon activity. Professor Song Xiujian, a doctoral supervisor from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, donated books to Yantai City. Relevant officials from Yantai City announced key aesthetic education projects for the national public in 2026, and reading promotion ambassadors released the list of the "Top Ten Recommended Books."
