The 23rd Yantai International Equipment Manufacturing Industry Exhibition 2025 Grandly Kicks Off

As a major annual event in the manufacturing sector of the Bohai Economic Rim, this year’s expo focuses on three core directions: high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing, and green manufacturing. It has brought together over 350 well-known enterprises worldwide and is expected to attract more than 20,000 professional visitors to exchange ideas, jointly exploring innovative pathways for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
This expo features eight core sections: Machine Tools, Molds & Tools Accessories, Industrial Automation & Power Transmission, Robotics & Machine Vision, Sheet Metal Laser Cutting & Welding Equipment, Warehousing Logistics & Packaging Handling, Industrial Cleaning & Environmental Protection, Hardware and Electrical Machinery & General Equipment, and Digital Intelligent Manufacturing. These sections fully cover the needs of the entire manufacturing industry chain.
On-site, Li Jingdi, the sales representative of Eastern CNC, demonstrated the company’s latest developed high-precision CNC machine tools to the reporter: “This is our third time participating in the expo. The new product we brought this year has increased processing efficiency by 30%, and we hope to quickly open up the market through the expo platform.” Meanwhile, the 6kW handheld laser cleaning machine launched by Mingzu Laser has become the focus in the field of green manufacturing. Its pollution-free and zero-waste characteristics perfectly align with the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals. Song Shilong, the technical director, stated, “This equipment will be rapidly promoted in industries such as shipbuilding and automobile manufacturing in the future.”
In the intelligent manufacturing sector, the deep integration of AI technology with industrial scenarios stood out as the biggest highlight. “AI is not just a concept, but tangible productivity,” said Fan Zhidong, General Manager of Dongruitai Laser. He explained that their latest developed technology has achieved seamless integration with intelligent systems, breaking foreign technical blockades and enabling full domestic production. At the exhibition, multiple companies demonstrated simulated production lines to vividly showcase AI’s innovative applications in areas such as quality control and predictive maintenance.
As a key practice platform for the national 14th Five-Year Plan on intelligent manufacturing development and Shandong Province’s strategy of replacing old growth drivers with new ones, this year’s expo deeply integrates the manufacturing resources of the Yantai-Weihai region and extends its influence across the Bohai Economic Rim. International giants, such as Japan’s Tsugami, DN Solutions, and Neway CNC, and local leading enterprises, including CITIC Heavy Industries and Weinuo Heavy Industries, competed on the same stage, demonstrating the new trend of global industrial chain collaboration.
