The Awards of the "Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition of Shandong" Were Announced, and Three Works from Yantai Won the Gold Awards.

On September 20th, the 2024 World Industrial Design Conference opened at the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention and Exhibition Center. At the conference, the gold awards (13 in total) and silver awards (20 in total) of the "Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition of Shandong", and the silver awards (12 in total) of the "Textile and Apparel Division" were presented. Yantai won 3 gold awards, including 2 in the "Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition of Shandong" and 1 in the "Textile and Apparel Division". They were respectively the "High-speed Rail First-Class Seats for 450 km/h" by Shandong Industrial Design Institute, the "Vehicle-Mounted Turbine Fracturing Equipment" by Yantai Jereh Oilfield Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., and the "Breathable Bed Sheets" by Yantai Mingyuan Creative Life Technology Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the "Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition of Shandong" is hosted by the People's Government of Shandong Province and is the highest honor event in the field of industrial design in Shandong Province. In this competition, Yantai won 3 gold awards (including 2 in the "Industrial Design Competition" and 1 in the "Textile and Apparel Division"), 2 silver awards (including 1 in the "Industrial Design Competition" and 1 in the "Textile and Apparel Division"), and 11 bronze awards (including 9 in the "Industrial Design Competition" and 2 in the "Textile and Apparel Division"), fully demonstrating the latest achievements of Yantai's industrial design.

In addition, the world's first biomedical ultra-low temperature digital intelligent sample management equipment, the first deep-sea cable-laying robot, and the carbon fiber intelligent track bicycle for the Paris Olympics national team made their debuts. These innovations fully showcased the cutting-edge research achievements at home and abroad in fields such as the new-generation information technology, intelligent robots, ocean engineering, and rail transit.
